It's all in the detail

Everybody likes to get a gift and it is always lovely to receive one that has been thoughtfully presented. Wedding favours are a lovely touch, whether you are using simple brown paper and string or fancy boxes with a velvet tie, it is just about what you like and what suits your budget.

You can save yourself lots of money by creating your own favours, just make sure you allow yourself plenty of time and have a gift that can be wrapped weeks or months in advance.  If you are going to be making lots, get some friends around to help put them together,

I love to keep things simple and like a gift that shows some thought and, even better, something that is connected to you and your partner. One idea I love is to offer your favourite cookies in simple paper bags, including the recipe on how to make them.

The following are some simple ideas for favours and ways of presenting them.
